Eco Soya Fiber...Singapore's first green label organic fertilizer
Asia's 1st Eco Farm-in-a-box concept and
Asia's 1st to use fertilizer that is 100% soy based

Why organic food, organic vegetables and organic herbs?
Conventionally grown vegetables that we consume daily uses chemical fertilizers and pesticides, which can be detrimental to our health.  Research has established linkages of chemicals and pesticides to weakened immune system, birth defects, learning disabilities and cancer (see articles below).

Hence, when you consume organic food, vegetables and herbs, you are helping to:
. reduce the amount of toxic and persistent chemicals in our food supply and the environment.
. protect the health of yourself, your children, and everyone around us.

Do organic farmers ever use pesticides?
Prevention is the organic farmer’s primary strategy for disease, weed, and insect control. By building healthy soils, organic farmers find that healthy plants are better able to resist disease and insects. Organic producers often select species that are well adapted for the climate and therefore resist disease and pests. When pest populations get out of balance, growers will try various options like insect predators, mating disruption, traps, and barriers. If these fail, permission may be granted by the certifier to apply botanical or other nonpersistent pest controls under restricted conditions. Botanicals are derived from plants and are broken down quickly by oxygen and sunlight.

At Go Organic International, we use a very unique way of farming and you can be assured that NO pesticides or chemicals are used. Even the fertilizer used is completely natural.
A whole new farming concept, only at ..........Go Organic

Unlike conventional farming methods where compost, which is made from a mixture of decaying matter such as leaves and manure, is used to improve the soil structure and to provide nutrients and where plants are planted on a plot of land, Go Organic uses the Farm-in-a-box concept utilizing the Eco Soya Fiber (ESF) which is a 100% soy based fertilizer.

The Farm-in-a-box concept is an environmentally friendly method of farming and is pollution free. Instead of planting on a plot of land, the concept utilizes a portable box, sterilized burnt soil, which is high grade quality soil that is subjected to high temperature to kill all bacteria, and the Eco-Soya-Fiber which is the first green label fertilizer in Singapore.

Each farm is isolated from the other and hence, significantly reduces the possibility of pollution
between each other. The Farm-in-a-box concept produces very good quality fresh vegetables and herbs which is free from pesticides and chemicals, tastier and more nutritious.

Health effects of Pesticides
Children are often more vulnerable to the harmful effects of pesticides because of their small size and their rapid developmental and metabolic rates.

Numerous studies have been conducted confirming a link between pesticide exposure and negative health effects. Symptoms of pesticide poisoning include a decrease in overall feelings of wellness, reproductive complications and failure, birth defects, learning disabilities, neurological and behavioral changes, organ damage, and various forms of cancer including leukemia, breast cancer, and brain tumors.

Pesticide poisoning is especially threatening to children since their brain and nervous systems are at critical stages of development.

The article refers to evidence about one of the most rapidly increasing cancers in the West, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma

Immune Systems Under Attack
Research on how the human immune system is damaged or weakened by exposure to pesticides, plastics and a variety of chemicals in common consumer products.  Strong evidence for explaining the observed increases in immune related disorders from viral/bacterial infections to child cancers.

Environmental causes of cancer
Links between petroleum based chemicals and cancer. Cancer Patients found to have Higher Pesticide Residues in Body.

Pregnancy Warning
A growing number of scientists are providing strong evidence as to why we are seeing more and more children with learning and behavior disorders over the past 30 years.  Their conclusions are straight forward - exposure of the developing child to even small levels of common everyday chemicals can result in learning or behavior problems evident throughout life.  This information is a result of a 1997 Graduate Research Project from University of South Florida investigating environmental and "chemical" causes of Learning Disabilities.
